How-to
Review and act on insights
Filter the insight list, open an insight, and apply, schedule, postpone, or reject it.
Work through your recommendations on the List tab of Insights and record what you decide to do with each one.
Find the insights you want
Section titled “Find the insights you want”- Open Insights in the sidebar. The List tab opens by default.
- Use the filter bar to narrow the list. Pick a date range, choose a status (All or one status), and narrow further with the Channel, Category, Impact, Effort, and Priority dropdowns. When the Postponed status is selected, a row of postpone-reason chips appears underneath.
- Use Sort to switch between Newest first (the default) and Oldest first. Sorting and filtering work together — changing one keeps the other.
The counter cards at the top of the page follow only the date filter, so clicking a status card does not change the numbers. The progress ring shows the share of insights you have applied (applied divided by the total) and follows all filters.
If nothing matches, the page shows No insights found.
Act on an insight
Section titled “Act on an insight”- Select an insight to open its detail view.
- Read Issue and Proposal, and check Related items for the data behind the recommendation.
- Choose one of the four actions:
| Action | What you enter | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Apply | — | You implemented the recommendation. |
| Schedule | A date, under When should this happen? | You plan to do it on that date. |
| Postpone | A reason (Discuss, Later, Needs info, Other), an optional note, and an optional Revisit on date | You pick it up later. |
| Reject | An answer to Why is this not relevant? | The recommendation does not apply. |
To move a scheduled insight, select Schedule again and pick a new date, or use Remove from calendar to take it off the calendar.
Every status change is recorded in the insight’s timeline, with the old status, the new status, the reason, the note, and who made the change.
Give feedback
Section titled “Give feedback”Use Vote helpful or Vote not helpful on an insight. Your feedback helps GripIQ make better and more relevant recommendations.
Measure the effect
Section titled “Measure the effect”The Impact measurement section lets you record a Baseline before you act, with Record baseline. When you later set the insight to Applied and the insight has a URL, GripIQ records the Follow-up automatically and shows Before, After, and Change per metric.
From the Dashboard
Section titled “From the Dashboard”You can do the same from the Dashboard: open an insight from the Insights card, change its status (including scheduling with a date), and vote — without leaving the page.
