How GripIQ works
The building blocks of GripIQ: projects, brands, personas, monitors, scans, and insights.
GripIQ watches how your brand shows up online — in AI assistant answers, in search results, on social media, and on competitor websites — and turns what it finds into recommendations.
Project
Section titled “Project”A project is your workspace. It owns everything you see in the app: brands, personas, prompts, keywords, tags, results, and insights. All pages sit under the project you selected in the header. You can belong to several projects and switch between them; see Switch projects.
Own brands and competitors
Section titled “Own brands and competitors”Every brand in a project is either an Own brand or a Competitor. Own brands are what GripIQ measures for you; competitors are the benchmark. Almost every metric — share of voice, rankings, engagement — compares the two groups. See View your brands and competitors.
Personas
Section titled “Personas”A persona describes a type of customer: a bio, an intent, and demographic and psychographic details. Personas make generated prompts and keywords match the questions real customers ask. See Work with personas.
The four monitors
Section titled “The four monitors”| Monitor | What it collects |
|---|---|
| AI Monitor | Answers from AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) to your prompts, with the brands mentioned, sentiment, and the web sources cited. |
| Keyword Monitor | Search engine results for your keywords: positions, search volume, CPC, and which brand owns each result. |
| Social Monitor | Posts and engagement from the social accounts of your brands and competitors. |
| Website monitoring | Changes to the pages of monitored websites, summarised per change and shown in the Competitors feed. |
Scans and the scan schedule
Section titled “Scans and the scan schedule”A scan is one scheduled collection run for a channel. All four channels follow the project’s scan interval: daily, weekly, monthly, or disabled. After each scan the next one is planned automatically. There is no button to start a scan yourself, and scans only run while the project has an active subscription. The Scan schedule card on the project settings page shows the interval, the item count per channel, and when the next scan is due.
Insights
Section titled “Insights”An insight is an AI-generated recommendation to improve your online presence. Insights are generated once a week, on Monday, from the data of the past week, and are grouped by channel (Web, Social, AI, Keywords) and rated by priority, impact, and effort. You act on them with Apply, Schedule, Postpone, or Reject. See Insights.
Text analysis
Section titled “Text analysis”Every collected answer and social post is analysed automatically for sentiment, tone, content pillar, and the brands mentioned. That analysis is what powers sentiment scores, share of voice, and the content-pillar charts. See Text analysis in the glossary.
Tags are your own labels on prompts and keywords. You create and manage them yourself, and you can filter by them on the dashboard and in the monitors. See Organize prompts and keywords with tags.
Plans and quotas
Section titled “Plans and quotas”Your subscription sets how many brands, personas, prompts, keywords, insights, and team members a project may have. Current usage against those limits is on Settings → Subscription. The numbers per plan are listed on Plans.
Account manager
Section titled “Account manager”Project settings, brands, personas, websites, social accounts, and team membership are set up for you by GripIQ. Your account manager is shown on Settings → Subscription with a mail link — contact them for any change to that configuration.
