Release notes

Version 1.11.0

What changed in GripIQ 1.11.0 (2026-09-03).

GripIQ is now in the App Store and on Google Play, you add Prompts and Keywords yourself, you can see how fresh your data is, and sitemaps are found again on websites behind a bot filter.

GripIQ is in the App Store and on Google Play

Section titled “GripIQ is in the App Store and on Google Play”

GripIQ can now be installed as an app on iPhone, iPad and Android. You will find it in the App Store and on Google Play. You sign in with the same account as on the web and see the same projects and notifications. The browser version remains available.

The Manage tabs of Prompts and Keywords now carry an Add button. You paste one item per line; empty lines and duplicates are skipped and reported back, and the dialog shows in advance how many items will really be created. Your subscription decides how much room there is: a list that exceeds it is refused as a whole, with a message stating how many places are left. You change a Keyword by removing it and adding it again; the dialog says so.

You can now see how fresh your data is and when the next scan runs

Section titled “You can now see how fresh your data is and when the next scan runs”

Every channel overview now shows, next to the filters, when the last scan ran and when the next one is planned. An empty overview can no longer be mistaken for one that has not been scanned yet. Existing projects have their last scan moment filled in straight away, so you will not see “never scanned” anywhere. The line about the weekly Insight round now sits on the Insights page next to the date filter, and its countdown matches the scheduler.

Sitemaps are found again on protected and imperfect websites

Section titled “Sitemaps are found again on protected and imperfect websites”

Websites behind a bot filter such as Akamai, websites with a market path in their address and websites with a slightly invalid sitemap were wrongly marked as “no sitemap”. GripIQ now requests sitemaps the way a browser does, looks under the stored path first and only then at the main domain, and also reads compressed and slightly damaged sitemaps. A temporary failure while fetching no longer erases the known sitemap URLs; it is retried later.

  • The weekly Insights now take your project’s personas into account: name, description, intent and demographics travel along as context, so the recommendations match your audience. Without personas nothing changes.
  • The filters on Insights and the competitor feed have become dropdowns; the impact, effort and category filters have made way for priority.
  • The annual organic value KPI on the Keywords overview now calculates the same way as the commercial value panel below it, respects the end date of a custom date range, and therefore usually comes out lower.
  • The Position Trend card on the Keywords overview always showed its empty state, even with data; it now shows the trend per Brand.
  • The Share of Voice card on Social Monitor stayed empty as soon as you filtered on a platform; it now follows the platform filter correctly.
  • The Prompts overview loads faster: the KPIs are totalled in the database and background data is no longer recalculated on every partial refresh.
  • Dialogs, drawers, menus and the sign-in pages now use the same shadows, corners and backgrounds as the rest of the app.
  • The AI Monitor names assistants by their own name, such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, instead of the company behind them.
  • Social crawls no longer hold on to background workers while waiting for results, so Insight generation and text analysis no longer queue behind the crawls.
  • Images from external websites are fetched the way a browser does again, so hosts no longer return an HTML page instead of the image.
  • The channel totals on the Dashboard refresh immediately when an item is added or removed.
