How quotas work
How GripIQ counts usage against your plan limits and what happens when you reach a cap.
Every project has a limit for brands, personas, prompts, keywords, insights, and team members. The numbers per plan are on Plans and quotas; the numbers for your own project are on Settings → Subscription.
How usage is counted
Section titled “How usage is counted”Usage is a live count of what is in your project right now. There is no running total and nothing carries over between months: delete a keyword and the count drops immediately.
GripIQ checks the limit at the moment something is created. If the project is already at its cap, creation is refused with a message like:
You’ve reached your Prompts limit (100). Upgrade your plan to add more.
This applies whether the item is created by your account manager or by you inside the app.
The insights quota is different
Section titled “The insights quota is different”The insights limit is not a stored total. It caps how many insights the weekly analysis may generate per weekly cycle, counted across all four channels together (Web, Social, AI, Keywords). Once the cycle reaches the cap, the remaining channels produce nothing that week. The next cycle starts from zero again. See Insights.
Team members
Section titled “Team members”The team-members limit counts external users only. Accounts on the GripIQ internal domain do not use a seat.
Without an active subscription
Section titled “Without an active subscription”If a project has no active subscription, every limit is 0. Nothing new can be created, and scans and weekly insight generation stop. Subscriptions that end while automatic renewal is switched on are renewed by GripIQ before that happens, so your limits do not drop to zero.
What to do when you reach a limit
Section titled “What to do when you reach a limit”- Free up space: remove items you no longer track — for example, keywords or prompts that are no longer relevant.
- Or contact your account manager via Settings → Subscription to raise the limit or move to a larger plan.
