How-to
Ask GripIQ about your project
Open the assistant, ask a question about the current project, and follow up in the same conversation.
Ask the assistant a question about the project you are looking at and get an answer from that project’s prompts, keywords, socials, insights, and summaries of its context documents. You need to be signed in and have a project open.
Ask a question
Section titled “Ask a question”- On any project page, select the round button at the bottom right (Open the assistant). The Ask GripIQ panel opens next to the page on a desktop screen, or over the page on a phone.
- Select one of the suggestions — What should we prioritise next?, How visible are we versus our competitors?, or Which keywords have the most demand? — or type your own question in Ask about this project….
- Press Enter to send. Press Shift+Enter to add a new line to your question.
- While the answer is streaming, the chips above it name which of your data the assistant checked. Select Stop to halt the answer; whatever has arrived stays on screen.
- Ask a follow-up in the same panel. The assistant keeps the conversation, so you can refer to the previous answer.
Result: The answer appears in the panel with the names of your brands highlighted. Close the panel with Close the assistant; the page behind it is untouched.
Continue or restart a conversation
Section titled “Continue or restart a conversation”- If you close the panel and open it again shortly after, the same conversation continues. After a pause, the next open starts a clean conversation.
- To start fresh at any time, select New conversation, the speech-bubble icon with a plus at the top of the panel, next to Close the assistant. It appears once the conversation holds a message, and you cannot select it while an answer is streaming.
- When a conversation reaches its length limit, the panel says This conversation has reached its length limit. Start a new one to keep going. and shows New conversation in place of the message field. Select it to start fresh.
Limits and errors
Section titled “Limits and errors”- A message can be up to 4,000 characters. The field stops accepting text at that length.
- Each project has a daily allowance for the assistant, set by your plan. When it is spent, the panel shows Daily limit reached. with the time it resets. You can still read the conversation, but you cannot send until then. See How quotas work.
- If you send many questions at once, the panel asks you to wait a moment. Select Try again to resend the same question.
- If the assistant could not answer, the panel says so; select Try again.
The assistant only sees this project, and it can be wrong. Check anything you act on.
