How-to

View your brands and competitors

Read the Brands page, open a brand's detail, and follow competitor activity.

Brands are the subjects GripIQ measures. Every brand is either an Own brand or a Competitor.

  1. Select Settings in the sidebar.
  2. Open the Brands tab.

The page lists brands in two groups with a count each: Own brands and Competitors. Empty groups read “No own brands yet” or “No competitors yet”.

Each brand card shows the brand’s icon and three counters: websites, social accounts, and posts.

Select a brand card. The detail shows:

  • Websites — the sites monitored for this brand.
  • Social accounts — platform, handle, and link per account.
  • Latest activity — the most recent post or change, or “No activity”.

Social accounts are detected automatically from a brand’s website: when a website is added, GripIQ reads the site and picks up the links to social profiles it finds there. Accounts found this way have the source Website; others are added by GripIQ staff.

Brands, their websites, and their social accounts are read-only in the app. The page says: “Your brands are currently managed by GripIQ. Contact your account manager to help you further.”

Your account manager sets this up for you — contact them via Settings → Subscription. Note that the number of brands a project may have is limited by your plan; see Plans.

  1. Select Competitors in the sidebar.
  2. Use the filters to narrow the feed: brands, date range, type (All, Website, Social), platforms, and Sort by (newest or most engaging).

The feed mixes website changes and social posts, newest first, and loads more items as you scroll. The count chip shows how many activities match your filters. Selecting a competitor in the right-hand list filters the feed to that brand.
