How-to

Manage your account

Update your name, email address, password, and language, and log out of GripIQ.

Your personal settings live on the Account settings page. Open it from the avatar at the top right of the header: click your initials and select Profile. The same menu holds Language and Log out.

  1. Open Account settings.
  2. In the Profile information card, edit Name or Email.
  3. Select Save.
  1. Open Account settings.
  2. In the Update password card, fill in Current password, New password, and Confirm password.
  3. Select Save.

A password needs at least 15 characters. Length matters more than complexity — a memorable phrase works well. Passwords found in known data breaches are rejected.

Accounts managed with Microsoft cannot be edited here. The card shows “Your profile is managed by Azure AD and cannot be changed here”, the fields are disabled, and there is no password card. Change your details in your Microsoft account instead.

  1. On the sign-in page, select Forgot password.
  2. Enter your email address and select Send reset link.
  3. Open the link in the email, then fill in New password and Confirm new password.

On the verification page, select Resend verification email. You then see “A new verification link has been sent to your email address.” If it does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder.

GripIQ is available in English, Dutch, German, and French. By default the app follows your browser’s language and falls back to English when the browser asks for another language. To pick a language yourself:

  1. Click your avatar at the top right of the header and open Language.
  2. Select English, Nederlands, Deutsch, or Français. Choose Automatic (browser language) to follow your browser again.

The interface switches immediately. The same choice is available on Account settings, in the Language card. Your language choice applies to this account on every device, and numbers, amounts, and dates follow it as well.

Your interface language is separate from your project’s language, which your account manager sets and which the AI uses when it writes prompts, keywords, and insights.

Click your avatar at the top right of the header and select Log out. Your session ends immediately on that device.
