Sitemap statuses, content categories, what counts as a change, schedule, and how websites are added.
Sitemap statuses
Section titled “Sitemap statuses”Each website followed for a brand has a status.
| Status | Meaning for you |
|---|---|
| Waiting | The website is queued; it has not been checked yet |
| Active | The sitemap was found and is being checked on schedule |
| Not found | No sitemap could be found on the site. Nothing is collected. Ask your account manager to check the address |
| Disabled | Checking is switched off for this website |
| Error | The last check could not be used. This also happens when a site regenerates its whole sitemap at once, which would otherwise report every page as changed |
Content categories
Section titled “Content categories”| Category | Covers |
|---|---|
| Offerings | Products and services |
| Insights | Blog, knowledge, and research pages |
| Corporate | Company information, news, and about pages |
| People & Support | Careers, HR, and customer support |
| Compliance | Legal, privacy, and terms |
A single change entry can carry more than one category.
What counts as a change
Section titled “What counts as a change”Each check compares the current list of pages with the previous one and produces three groups:
| Counter | Meaning |
|---|---|
| +N added | Pages that were not in the previous list |
| −N removed | Pages that are no longer listed |
| ~N modified | Pages that are still listed but were marked as changed |
When nothing is stored
Section titled “When nothing is stored”- No page was added, removed, or modified since the last check. The check ran; there is simply nothing to report.
- No sitemap was found. The status becomes Not found and nothing further happens.
- The whole sitemap appears to have been regenerated. The website is flagged Error and no summary is written, because the comparison would be meaningless.
Summaries
Section titled “Summaries”When there are changes, GripIQ writes a short summary in your project’s language and assigns the content categories. If a change entry has no summary, the card falls back to “Snapshot captured” plus the number of pages indexed, and the dashboard timeline shows “:brand website updated”.
Schedule
Section titled “Schedule”Websites are checked on the project scan schedule: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Disabled.
Feed filters
Section titled “Feed filters”| Filter | Options |
|---|---|
| Brands | Any brand in the project |
| Date range | Defaults to the last 30 days |
| Type control | All, Website, Social media |
| Sort by | Newest, Most engaging |
The feed loads 15 items at a time as you scroll.
Quotas and setup
Section titled “Quotas and setup”There is no plan quota for websites. The number of brands your project may have is set by your plan — see Plans.
Websites are added, edited, and removed by your account manager, not from the app. Contact them via Settings → Subscription. Adding a website also starts the search for that brand’s social accounts — see Add or change social accounts.
