Release notes
Version 2.0.0
What changed in GripIQ 2.0.0 (2026-10-15).
Welcome to GripIQ 2.0: a refreshed GripIQ with a new design, answering your prompts for your own market and language.
A refreshed GripIQ
Section titled “A refreshed GripIQ”The app has a new design: every page opens with an overview of the key figures, and you navigate through a slim icon bar on the left. The sections are now simply called Prompts, Keywords and Socials. Every brand, your own and each competitor’s, now has its own page showing where it appears in AI answers, search results, social media and on its website. There is also a new Web section, with an overview of every brand’s website changes and a page per change.
A timeline for your insights
Section titled “A timeline for your insights”Next to the list and the calendar, insights now have a timeline. It lines up what happened each day: mentions and sources in AI answers, movements in the search results, social posts and website changes. Select an insight and you immediately see which events it is based on.
Prompts answered for your market and language
Section titled “Prompts answered for your market and language”Every prompt is now answered for its own region and in the project’s language, so the answers match what your customers in that market see. Each answer shows the region and language it was generated for. The Prompts overview also lets you filter on prompts with and without a brand name, as Keywords already did.
Add competitors, channels and personas yourself
Section titled “Add competitors, channels and personas yourself”The Brands page shows which brands appear in AI answers and which domains rank in the search results, and you can follow one as a competitor in one click. Team admins can now add a website or social account to a brand themselves; GripIQ confirms the account before it is tracked. You can now add personas by hand or have AI suggest them, within your subscription’s allowance.
Other changes
Section titled “Other changes”- Socials now shows the engagement rate per follower next to the total engagement, based on the number of followers at the time of each post.
- On a keyword’s detail page, the full search results now come first, before the monthly search volume and related keywords.
- You can tag or untag several keywords or prompts at once, and choose a tag’s keywords and prompts directly in the tag settings.
- Personas can now also have an age under 35.
- Website insights are now based on what the pages actually show, such as their text, headings and metadata, instead of general advice.
- An AI answer that names your brand by a short form now counts as a mention of that brand. Your mention count and Share of Voice may rise slightly as a result.
- Keyword insights now look at every scan of the week, not just the last one.
- The Chats filters and export stay in step with the browser address, also after going back and forward.
- Instagram posts listed twice have been merged, and YouTube videos stored without views are fetched again.
- The Connections tab in the settings only appears when there is a service to connect.
- After generating prompts, the message now says the new prompts will appear in the list shortly, instead of promising a notification that never came.
- People who register themselves receive a welcome email in their own language after confirming their email address, and no longer also an invitation to set a password.
- The Dashboard, the Prompts list and Socials load faster, and the chat and charts only load when you need them.
- The Dutch and German texts now consistently use the formal form of address.
- The analyses of posts, keywords and answers use newer AI models, because the previous ones are being retired. Trends may show a small step as a result.
- All emails have a new layout in the app’s colours, with links to the documentation, the status page and the contact form at the bottom. Names and other text users enter can no longer become a clickable link in an email.
