Release notes
Version 1.14.0
What changed in GripIQ 1.14.0 (2026-10-01).
This release gives every team someone who can manage it themselves and prepares the UI refresh that becomes GripIQ 2.0.
Every team now has a Team Admin
Section titled “Every team now has a Team Admin”Whoever requests a project now starts as Team Admin and can invite colleagues and change their role straight away. New colleagues start as Team Member: they can do everything in the project except manage the team. The restricted role is now called Contributor instead of Client, and nobody receives it automatically any more; a Team Admin assigns it deliberately. Existing teams have been converted: in each project the first client invited became Team Admin and the others became Team Member.
Competitors’ website changes in detail
Section titled “Competitors’ website changes in detail”In the Competitors timeline, clicking a website change now opens a window listing every new, modified and removed page, which you can search. A bar on the card shows how much of the website the change touched, for example “231 of 1,840 pages changed · 13%”. Removed pages count towards that total, so a large clean-up does not look bigger than it is. The first snapshot of a newly tracked website shows no percentage, because every page then counts as new.
Other changes
Section titled “Other changes”- Every request to an AI model now explicitly asks the provider not to use your data for training and, where the model allows it, not to store it.
- Insight text no longer contains internal references such as item numbers; an Insight now names the Keyword, Prompt or post itself.
- In Ask GripIQ you can now start a new conversation at any time with the button at the top, not only once a conversation is full.
- The Settings and Subscription pages now show your project details as a summary instead of disabled input fields; a missing value shows a dash. The always-empty Description field is gone.
- An AI answer that contains invisible control characters is now saved instead of failing, including in Ask GripIQ.
- Posts in Socials are now shown at their real height: no more empty space or scrollbars on Instagram, TikTok and X, and long LinkedIn texts are shortened with a “more” link.
- Projects with a weekly or monthly scan now collect every post since the previous scan; a monthly scan used to miss about three weeks.
- Search volumes and positions for a Keyword are now measured in that Keyword’s region, not always in the project’s main market.
- X and Pinterest are no longer offered in the Socials platform filter, because posts are not collected for those channels yet.
- The button that shows only answers mentioning your own brand now searches every answer of a Prompt, not only the answers already loaded.
- The stat tiles above the Competitors timeline now also follow the platform and type filters.
- A custom period now also works in the Chats tab and when exporting answers.
- Related Keywords are no longer fetched for a language the search engine does not support in your market, such as English in Belgium; the card then explains why it stays empty.
- The team members list no longer shows internal D’M&S accounts, so it matches the number of seats in your subscription.
- A tracked website’s scan no longer fails when another website is being scanned at the same time.
